New Delhi: Harjas Singh, an Indian-origin Australian player, played a remarkable innings of his lifetime as he smashed a triple century in a 50-over game. The former U19 World Cup-winning cricketer scored 314 runs in just 141 deliveries against the Sydney Cricket Club at the Pattern Park.

The left-hand batter’s astonishing innings included 35 maximums and 14 fours with a humongous 222.69 strike-rate. He came at the no. 3 position after the first powerplay and took his time to settle in the crease. Harjas reached the three-digit mark in 74 balls, but after completing his century, the 20-year-old batter took Sydney’s bowlers on remand and scored 214 in the next 67 balls.
