HINESBURG, Vt. (WCAX) - A North Ferrisburgh woman was killed Saturday evening after being hit by a wrong-way driver.

Vermont State Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. in Hinesburg.

They say 24-year-old Logan Cody of Shelburne was driving a pickup truck down Silver Street in the wrong lane. Police say he crashed into a sedan driven by 63-year-old Lauren Morrill of North Ferrisburgh.

Morrill was found unresponsive and died at the scene. Cody was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating.
