Police in Hingham arrested a Holbrook teen Friday after he and another suspect allegedly broke into about 60 cars in one night.
Just before 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of two males breaking into a resident’s cars on Pilgrim Road, police said in a statement . Working with Norwell police and a Hingham K-9 unit, officers investigated and launched a drone to help find the suspects.
Using the drone, police found the two males, who ran when spotted, on another street. Officers caught and arrested a 17-year-old male but were not able to find the other suspect, according to police.
The suspects allegedly broke into approximately 60 unlocked cars in the neighborhood, police said. Some cars were only rummaged through, but others had belongings taken from them, including a laptop, car
