Kind-hearted Portletico FC are holding their own gruelling 24 hour football session to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the local food bank in Portlethen .

The Sunday League side is looking to raise funds for the neonatal unit and the Community Larder , a food bank based in their hometown.

Players, staff, family and supporters from the Sunday League side will all play in continuous 5-a-side games at Goals in Aberdeen later this month to support both great local causes.

They have set an initial target of £5,000 on their Go Fund Me page for the on-going marathon match, which will kick off on Friday, 17th of October at 7pm and run through to 7pm on the Saturday.
