Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce for Affirmative Action (ICCAA), Sunil Zode, made a compelling appeal for greater support and collaboration to uplift Northeast filmmakers at the Northeast International Film Festival (NIIFF) in Mumbai. He emphasized the region’s immense cultural richness while drawing attention to the systemic challenges that continue to limit its cinematic growth.
The event was attended by Krishna Pimple, Consul of Tanzania in India & CMD of CISB Group; MLA Aslam Shaikh; Atul Kulkarni of Namaste Foundation; Nitin Dhanukar, director of Orange City; Kailash Jaiswar; and several others from the cultural and film fraternity.
