Third-seeded Amanda Anisimova captured her fourth career win with a 6-0, 2-6, 6-2 victory over Linda Noskova in the final of the China Open on Sunday in Beijing.
It is her second career WTA 1000 title, winning both this season.
After toppling defending tournament champion Coco Gauff on Saturday, Anisimova benefited from six aces along with six double faults by her foe to dispatch the Czech in one hour, 46 minutes. The title was her first win since defeating Jelena Ostapenko of Latvia in the final of the Qatar Open in February.
Anisimova, a runner-up at both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open this year, sent a backhand winner down the line to end the match before falling on her back with her hands over her face to celebrate. The victory allows Anisimova to pass Gauff and take the No. 3 spot in
