Agartala, 5 th October 2025 : The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has accused the BJP-led central and state governments of systematically advancing the “Manu Samhita” (Manu Philosophy) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which the party claims undermines women’s rights and dignity.

Addressing a press conference at Congress Bhavan here today, PCC spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty alleged that over the past 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule, incidents across the country and the state have revealed a “deceitful and regressive attitude” towards women.
