CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Benedictine High School football game ended early Friday after a fight required security and police to respond.
According to a release from the high school, at halftime during the football game against Lutheran East, a fight broke out between individuals outside the fenced area surrounding the field of play.
Security and police responded to the area.
Benedictine High School said the fight did not involve any Benedictine students or fans although some fans were in the surrounding area due to it being halftime.
According to the release, there were no injuries reported.
After the fight, all fans were asked to clear the stadium, and it was decided to conclude the game with a final score of 28-7, Benedictine.
