President Donald Trump is calling for Jay Jones , the Democratic Party’s nominee for attorney general in Virginia, to drop out of the race after he sent “SICK and DEMENTED” text messages about shooting and killing a Republican lawmaker.

The president, in a Truth Social post on Sunday, said Jones’ comments were so vile that even some of his fellow Democrats agree he must resign.
