KENNESAW, Ga. — A Kennesaw man was arrested Sunday morning after police say he fired multiple shots inside a restaurant during a fight stemming from a workplace dispute.
According to the Kennesaw Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting at Martin's Restaurant at 8:41 a.m. on Oct. 5. Police arrived one minute later, secured the scene, and began interviewing witnesses.
Investigators determined that an argument had occurred between two restaurant employees before the incident. One of the employees called her husband, 46-year-old Jeffrey Alan Thomas of Kennesaw, to tell him about the dispute. Police said Thomas went to the restaurant shortly afterward and confronted the other employee.
During a physical altercation between the two men, Thomas fired several rounds insid
