Fans shuffling out of the subway are greeted by Tess, or Saxy Sadie T as she preferred to go by, directing traffic, telling confused fans what gates to go.

“I’ve developed my own fan club,” she said excitedly over strangers who were hugging her and have come to know her after 16 years on the beat.

She’s developed her own fan club after 16 years with several people going up to hug her and checking on her in the heat. Her trustee stuffed monkey sidekick was gifted to here from a five year old who saved their money to get her a birthday gift.

“One day rain started pouring down from the sky, and I had nothing else to do so just started helping people.”

Jays fans going home at the end of the game will be soothed by the sound of her saxophone.
