President Donald Trump went off Sunday on a federal judge he appointed during his first term after she temporarily blocked his administration from deploying troops in Portland , saying she "ought to be ashamed" of herself.

"I wasn't served well by the people that pick judges," Trump told reporters with C-SPAN, PBS and other outlets a day after U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut issued an order halting the government's efforts to deploy troops in Oregon 's biggest city.

Repeatedly misgendering Immergut, Trump said, "I appointed the judge and he goes like that, so I wasn't served well. Obviously, I don't know the judge.
