SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A person is in the hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Scottsdale, according to authorities.

The Scottsdale Police Department said the fight happened Sunday at 12:15 a.m. in an alley near Indian School Road and Goldwater Boulevard.

The victim is in critical condition. An update on their condition is not available.

The other person involved in the fight was held by security until police arrived at the scene. The man was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
