MESA, Ariz. — One person has died after a crash involving two motorcycles in Mesa, according to authorities.

The Mesa Police Department said the crash happened near Sossaman and Rittenhouse roads.

Police said the motorcycles collided with one another.

One of the riders was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The names of those involved have not been released.
