SALT LAKE CITY — BYU football made its biggest jump of the season in the week seven AP Top 25 Poll, which was released on Sunday.
Following the Cougars’ 38-24 win over West Virginia, BYU jumped up five spots to No. 18 in the latest version of the college football rankings.

In the win, freshman quarterback Bear Bachmeier approached 400 scrimmage yards as he completed 18 of his 25 pass attempts for 351 yards and a touchdown, and added 43 yards and a score with his legs.
Running back LJ Martin had himself a day as well, taking 21 carries for 90 yards and two rushing TDs. Chase Roberts and Parker Kingston had big games as well. Both receivers had just four receptions, but netted 161 and 11
