PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles’ inconsistencies finally caught up with them.
Up 17-3 and seemingly in control, they fell apart in the final quarter Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field and were left to deal with just their second loss since Week 4 of last season.
Quarterback Bo Nix, who looked pedestrian through Denver’s first eight possessions of the game, led the Broncos to 18 straight points and a shocking 21-18 victory.
The Eagles, with just their second loss in 22 games, fell to 4-1. It was their first loss at home since Week 2 of last season and their first loss at all since Dec. 22 of last season at Washington.
How it all fell apart
Nix led the Broncos on a 10-play, 64-yard touchdown drive that started late in the third quarter and extended into the fourth quarter to close the Eagle
