A 32-year-old Goffstown man has been denied bail on two felony counts of negligent homicide and one count of falsifying evidence because he refused New Hampshire’s Implied Consent-mandated blood and alcohol tests after a crash on Sept. 20 left an Alton couple dead and another person in critical condition.

Anthony J. Summers, who is a paving foreman, allegedly drove his truck across the double-yellow line on Lake Shore Road in Gilford, plowing into Scott Blomerth, 67, and Robyn Blomerth, 59, of Alton, according to Laconia District Court documents.

The pair, who were riding motorcycles, died at the scene, police said.

A third man – a friend of the couple’s named Timothy “T.J.” Sullivan, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His condition was not available.
