WILMINGTON, Delaware (WPVI) -- Today, Wilmington City Council Staff gave a boost to local restaurant owners.
They held their "Black Food Festival," a culminating event of "Black Restaurant Week."
All food was free to taste so guests could try the flavors of many different chefs.
"I'm hoping that this is the start of something new. There is opportunity in Wilmington. This is a wonderful place to grow and build your business. The people of the city...really love giving back," said Elijah Simmons, Chief of Staff of Wilmington City Council.
