Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II (2) breaks up a pass against Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (11) in the second half at Lincoln Financial Field.

For one Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, his team's Week 5 loss to the Denver Broncos might feel more like two losses.

A.J. Brown's stats today against Denver were uninspiring once again as Philadelphia suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday afternoon at home. The three-time Pro Bowler finished the contest third on the Eagles in targets, second in receptions and third in receiving yards.

That's unlikely to keep the Eagles' No. 1 wide receiver satisfied, especially as his underwhelming box score line comes one week after he expressed frustration about his usage in a cryptic social media post.

Brown has since deleted his post, which quoted Bible verse Mark 6:11, and replaced it with another post that read, "I Love yall with all My heart."

Through five games this season, Brown has one game with more than 100 receiving yards. Last year, despite missing three of the Eagles' first five games, he had two 100-yard outings through five games.

Philadelphia will try again to get Brown more involved in its offense on a short week. The Eagles will hit the road for a Week 6 "Thursday Night Football" meeting with the New York Giants.

Here's what to know about Brown's Week 5 performance Sunday and how he's played in each game this season:
