It could’ve been much worse.

The Seattle Seahawks have not played well. Offensive line mistakes, a needless Jalen Milroe insertion leading to a fumble, and terrible missed tackle on defense. And yet, the Seahawks are down just 13-7 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Sam Darnold threw a bullet pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba to cap off a brilliant two-minute drill.

The Seahawks also get the ball to start the second half, so even with a -1 in the turnover count, a lot of self-inflicted mistakes, another missed field goal by Jason Myers, it’s still just a one possession game. I know it’s been frustrating but the Seahawks are very much alive and the passing game has been crisp even when other aspects of this team have not.
