Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen left the game in the third quarter on a run play and has now been ruled out by the team. Initially the team said he was questionable to return with a concussion, so when they ruled him out, it pretty much indicated that is the injury.
Woolen entered the game playing 97% of Seattle’s defensive snaps on the year as the starting cornerback. He had one pass defended and 14 tackles in those four starts.
In place of Woolen, Nehemiah Pritchett stepped in. In the second half, Pritchett also sustained an injury, but he returned after evaluation. It’s bleak. Rookie Nick Emmanwori is now in the game.
