INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts sat second-year wide receiver Adonai Mitchell for most of Sunday’s 40-6 win over the Raiders after Mitchell made two critical mistakes in the second half of last week’s loss to the Rams .
Normally the team’s primary backup to Alec Pierce at the “X” position, Mitchell instead took a backseat to veteran receiver Ashton Dulin, who caught two passes for 55 yards in place of the injured Pierce.
Mitchell did not play until the Colts sent the backups onto the field for most of the fourth quarter.
