INDIANAPOLIS — Maxx Crosby is one of the NFL’s best pass rushers.
But he’s always had trouble with Braden Smith and the Colts .
Crosby, one of the NFL’s best game-wreckers at defensive end, was held in check in Indianapolis’ 40-6 blowout of the Raiders on Sunday, continuing a string of futility against the Colts.
Indianapolis held Crosby to zero sacks and one quarterback hit on Sunday.
“Our thing going into this game, which I'm sure every opponent that plays the Raiders, is stop 98,” Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen said of Crosby. “He’s one of the best in the league right now, and so going into the game, we were trying to get four hands on him as much as possible, not run at him.
