SWANTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A last call for creemees at Gagne Maple at their Fall Maple Open House Weekend.

They opened their doors and invited guests in to enjoy all things maple.

There were also hay rides through the woods, passing by all the farm’s maple trees.

Lots of sweet maple treats available, including maple creemees.

Owner Jason Gagne says the fall is a perfect time to host an event like this -- to boost boost business in the off season.

“It’s another time of year to gather and visit with our neighbors and they all come over and say hi and visit. It’s a benefit for us, too, because then we sell maple syrup. So, they come in the spring and pick up their maple syrup for the summer. Now, they’re running low again, they’re refilling the pantry, and now they’re good through the fall,”
