CINCINNATI — It was never going to be much of a game, and it turned out to be even less than that in the Detroit Lions ’ 37-24 win of the Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 5, at Paycor Stadium.

The game wasn’t nearly as close at the final score indicated. And the Lions did what they had to do to avoid a classic trap game by taking care of a vastly inferior opponent one week before they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs.
