One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday on the northbound freeway, just south of the Pomona (60) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location at 3:15 a.m. extricated a person from a vehicle at 3:25 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer.

No one was transported to a hospital, he said. The gender of the person extricated from the vehicle was not immediately known.

A Sigalert, issued at 3:40 a.m. closing all northbound lanes of the 57 Freeway, was canceled at 8:03 a.m.
