TUCSON, Ariz. — Oklahoma State’s quarterback situation was always going to be watched closely.
That was expected when the Cowboys had two players — Hauss Hejny and Zane Flores — atop the depth chart despite not having thrown a pass in college.
Both have an unknown status entering Saturday’s 11 a.m. home game against Houston. Flores suffered an upper body injury and left the game late in the third quarter of a 41-13 road loss at Arizona. Hauss continues to recover from a Jones fracture suffered in the first quarter of a season-opening win against UT Martin.
For an offense that’s struggled this year, it’s going to be an interesting week wondering who will be the QB against the Cougars.
