PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — People and police officers continued to gather around the Jimmy's Market on Great Smoky Mountains Parkway in Pigeon Forge throughout Sunday.

The people wanted to see the spot where a large crowd seemingly refused to leave after, according to Richard Catlett, the police chief of Pigeon Forge, the owner of Jimmy's Market asked officers to make the crowd leave over Saturday night.

Police officers at the scene said they were there to prevent curious people from blocking the gas pumps and access to nearby stores.

"I think the car community of Slammedenuff , I think they mean well for the most part, but, you know, with any large group like that, you have a small percentage that'll ruin it for everybody," said Mick Goins, the general manager of the Moon Pie General St
