SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Springfield Greenway near Sulphur Fork Creek has been closed after a family reportedly found additional human remains on Sunday. This comes just one day after a child found a human skull in the area on Saturday, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reported on Saturday that a young boy had discovered a human skull at the edge of Sulphur Fork Creek, near the Sulphur Creek Memorial Boulevard bridge.

SBN reports that the Wix family found additional human remains near Sulphur Fork Creek on Sunday and contacted 911.
