FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- One person is dead and two others are hospitalized after a Sunday night crash in Fairfax County, the Fairfax County Police Department detailed.

In a post to the X platform around 8:30 p.m., police said officers responded to reports of a crash on Jeff Todd Way and Telegraph Road in Hayfield.

There, the driver, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The driver of the other vehicle, a man, and the passenger, a woman, were both transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
