LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center held its second-ever Artist & Afros event this weekend.

The event is a celebration of art, culture, and community.

That meant showcasing a live jazz band, original art from local creators, and community connection.

This event gives little-known artists a chance to showcase their work to potential buyers.

Organizers say they purposely hosted Artist and Afros the same weekend as the St. James Court Art Show to foster a display of art throughout the city.
