LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Sacrifice and service took center stage at Camp Robinson as more than 120 Arkansas National Guard soldiers prepared for deployment .

"We are departing today, going down to Fort Hood for some training, and then from there, we'll be moving to the southern border for support of CPP border patrol," Lieutenant Colonel Chris Hart, Battalion Commander, said.

They'll join a task force of over 340 soldiers from across the country, from Oklahoma to Puerto Rico, united for one mission.

"We'll be flying supporting the ground units, you know, of the active duty component, and also flying for the border patrol agents on the ground and assisting them from the air," Colonel Hart said.
