SEATTLE -- Mariners second baseman Jorge Polanco tagged Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal for a pair of solo home runs, and Seattle used a pair of 8th inning doubles to top the Tigers 3-2 in Game 2 of the ALDS Sunday night

The best-of-five ALDS is now tied 1-1.

The Tigers offense, quiet most of the night, came to life in the 8th inning when Spencer Torkelson doubled in a pair of runs to tie the game at 2, but the Mariners regained the lead in the home half, thanks to doubles from Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez.

The series now shifts to Comerica Park for Games 3&4 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Casey Mize is expected to start for the Tigers Tuesday afternoon.
