BLAKELY, Pa. — On Sunday, the Northeastern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame inducted 10 new members into its ranks at Fiorelli's Catering in Peckville.

One of the recipients of the evening was none other than Newswatch 16's own Steve Lloyd, who was chosen as this year's media award inductee.

To be inducted the members have to be nominated and have received a certain amount of votes.

Mike Nycz (Nitch) Jr., who has received the Service Award after 50 plus years as scorekeeper with Scranton High School basketball.

Other inductees include Stephen Arcure, Tony Blaisure, Mark Bucklaw, Trina Carito Collins, Mark Lesko, the late Paul Marchwat, Nick Parlanti, and JC Show.
