Jonathan Dever’s letter Sept. 30 criticized monopolies. We agree that Ohioans are harmed when monopolies go unchecked. But Mr. Dever inexplicably claimed that the U.S. Department of Justice under the Biden Administration was not “tackling real monopolists” when it filed an anti-trust lawsuit against the giant payment network Visa in 2024. He couldn’t be further from the truth.
