About $30,000 in Foxtel subscriptions for government ministers has been paid from the public purse, while one minister has claimed more than $100 for virus tests.

A freedom of information request lodged by the coalition in NSW, known as a Government Information Public Access request, reveals $29,620 has been expensed in Foxtel subscriptions and other online databases for cabinet.

Comprising 24 ministers and led by premier Chris Minns, cabinet billed NSW residents for everything from mobile phone plans to office equipment, media training, magazines and newspapers as well as employee relocation fees in 2024/25.
