Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said he was deeply saddened over the deaths of seven patients in a fire at state-run Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.

In a tweet posted by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), PM Modi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

"The loss of lives due to a fire tragedy at a hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is deeply saddening. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon," PM Modi said.
