The family of 26-year-old Rayon Williams shared their story with Pittsburgh's Action News 4 after she was shot and killed inside a South Side barbershop Saturday.

Michelle Butler, Williams' mother, said she lost several of her brothers to gun violence, and added, “But I never thought that I would lose one of my children or one of my children would die before me.” Advertisement

On Saturday morning, Williams and her cousins made a big breakfast together. She told them to save her plate because she didn’t want to be late for her hair appointment. She told them she loved them, like she always did, and then headed out. That was the last time they saw her.
