OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Months after closing, the Hope Fridge returned to Oshkosh.
This resource helps to fill gaps for food insecurity in the area.
The Hope Fridge is now located at 203 Algoma Boulevard, outside Trinity Episcopal Church.
It used to be at the Wagner Market. It was well-used there, but organizers learned it wasn’t the best location, so it was removed.
Months went by. The need continued. So a coalition was formed with the goal of bringing it back to the community.
It’s back because of the work of Trinity Episcopal Church, First Congregational Church, United Methodist Church, Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services, Solutions Recovery, Winnebago County Public Health and many caring neighbors.
