MILLCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

On Monday, a Pennsylvania school board will discuss its legal options against Ray and Associates Incorporated, the firm that helped hire Ian Roberts as superintendent.

Roberts, the former Des Moines Public Schools superintendent, is currently in the Polk County Jail on a U.S. Marshals hold for being an illegal alien in possession of weapons.

He served as the superintendent of Millcreek Township School District from 2020 to 2023 . The district says it utilized Ray and Associates Incorporated in the hiring process and that Roberts falsely stated he was a U.S. citizen and had received his doctorate, although he did obtain his doctorate in 2021.
