CIRCLEVILLE, OH — A Lancaster man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 56 West in Jackson Township, according to Pickaway County Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey .

At approximately 3:54 p.m. on October 4, 2025 , the Pickaway County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a serious crash in the area between McClean Mill Road and Grice Road .

Deputies determined that a 2007 white Honda Shadow motorcycle , driven by 29-year-old Johnny R. McClarren Jr. of Lancaster , had been stopped westbound, waiting to turn into 6651 State Route 56 West , when it was struck from behind by a 2019 white Chevrolet Cruze driven by 38-year-old Tracy L. Brigner II of Circleville .
