A businessman who said he “couldn’t help himself” has walked free after admitting he raped a sleeping schoolgirl during a long-haul international flight.

The horrific ordeal happened on a nine hour Swiss International Air Lines flight from Mumbai on March 17.

Court documents, cited by The Sun , stated the 15-year-old girl had spoken to the man briefly before falling asleep under a blanket.

The married 44-year-old man put his arm around the teen’s shoulders and put his hands inside her pants and sexually assaulted her. He then forced her to touch him.

The frightened girl woke during the attack and “froze” but later told a flight attendant who called the police.

The man, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested immediately after stepping off the Air
