GARLAND COUNTY, Ark. — For one lucky Arkansan, a quick break from work turned into her biggest lottery win yet.

Katherine S. of Garland County won the top $50,000 prize while playing $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 instant game. She purchased the winning ticket at Good Spirits in Hot Springs.

“Sometimes the tickets talk to you,” she joked. “And it was talking to me that day.”

Following her gut instinct, she scratched off her ticket and was shocked to see she'd won the grand prize!

“This isn’t possible!” Katherine thought.

So far, she's shared the good news with her parents and brother, who she said may be even more excited than she is.

She plans to save her winnings and use them to complete some home renovation projects.
