Quebec residents can now book their COVID-19 vaccinations, the Quebec health department announced Monday. However, those who are not in specific vulnerable groups will have to pay a fee.
Unlike most other provinces, Quebec will only be offering the newly formulated vaccine to those in specific vulnerable groups this fall. Others can get the shot at their local pharmacy or CLSC, but pharmacists have indicated the cost will be about $150 to $180 per shot.
The flu vaccine will offered free to anyone over the age of six months, and both flu and COVID vaccine shots can be booked at the same time.
