Because of the ongoing postal strike , Montrealers can’t rely on receiving a voting card in the mail. They’ll have to take matters into their own hands to see if they’re on the electoral list for the Nov. 2 municipal election.

Though Élections Montréal says the vast majority of voters are already correctly registered, the agency on Monday said it has made checking the list as simple as possible.

Voters can check the list through Élections Montréal online at elections.montreal.ca or by calling (514) 872-8683.

The electoral list revision period will run from Oct. 11 to Oct. 16, 2025.

Over those six days, voters will be able to visit a revision office to register, update their information or correct errors. Revision office addresses are available on the Élections Montréal website.
