Birmingham-based Luckie has named a new chief executive officer.
Scott Gelber is the marketing agency’s new CEO, replacing John Gardner.
Gelber comes from Merkley+Partners, a New York-based Omnicom agency, where he spent 25 years, rising to president. He also served as chief digital officer.
During his time, the size of the agency’s media clients doubled, its healthcare sector revenue grew and the agency moved into a digital-first position.
He has worked with brands including Mercedes Benz, AstraZeneca, Novartis, Pfizer, Citi, White Castle, Florida’s Natural, BIC and others.
Luckie Board Chairman Tom Luckie said Gelber is coming to “help us raise the bar.”
