The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed safety Jack Henderson to their practice squad, the team announced. Henderson comes on the practice squad to help replace Sebastian Castro , who was nabbed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers off the Steelers practice squad.
Pittsburgh now has a full practice squad once again. Henderson has been with the Carolina Panthers and Buccaneers this season after being an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota.
Henderson was one of five players who came to Pittsburgh for a tryout last week. He is the only player to be signed by the Steelers from that list. The Buccaneers released Henderson on September 23rd from their practice squad.
During the preseason, Henderson played both box and free safety, according to Pro Football Focus, playing 29 snaps at free safety an
