HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - An officer in Hartford recovered a stolen riding lawn mower, police announced on Monday.

The theft happened on Sept. 30.

Police said the mower was taken from the city’s Department of Public Works employees at the Zion Hill Cemetery.

The officer found it at Broad and Madison streets. Police said it had been hidden behind an umbrella and milk crates.

The suspect, however, remained at large, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Hartford police.
