LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the northbound US-127 ramp to eastbound I-96 for sign truss installation. US-127 between Holt Road and I-96 will also be closed intermittently for installation.

The closures will begin on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. and are estimated to end on Friday at approximately 5:00 a.m.

US-127 between Holt Road and I-96 will see two 15-minute closures during that time frame.

The Michigan State Police will maintain traffic control, and travel delays are expected.

MDOT reports that the project will provide improved signage along the US-127 corridor.
