Foster Poultry Farms LLC is recalling nearly four million pounds of chicken corn dog products due to possible contamination.
According to a report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the corn dogs may contain pieces of wood in the batter. The products were distributed nationwide, including to the Department of Defense and USDA commodity food programs.
Officials say the California-based company received multiple complaints — at least five involving customer injuries.
Consumers are urged to check their freezers and return any affected products to the place of purchase for a refund.
